Follow the steps below to connect an Ethernet-capable controller such as a LINKS Hub or Connect Controller to a local network by using the Add Hardware wizard within the Growlink Mobile App.
1) Login to the Growlink Mobile App:
2) Tap the icon of three lines in the top-left of the Mobile App, then tap the Hardware button in the following menu:
3) One can add a controller to an existing room, or tap the ‘+Add’ button in the following page to add a new room to your account. This is the container that will hold the future controller registration:
4) If you are creating a new Room, provide a name for the Room, the Square Footage of the Room, and the Room Type, followed by tapping the 'Create’ Button to finish creating that room:
5) Once an existing room has been selected or a new room has been created, tap the ‘Continue’ button to begin registering the controller to your account:
6) If you are registering a LINKS device to your account, tap the LINKS button in the following page. If you’re registering other Growlink Hardware, such as a Precision Irrigation Controller (PIC), tap the ‘Other Growlink Equipment’ option:
7) Select the ‘Set up a new device in this room’ option to add the controller to the specified room:
8) Select the ‘Get Started’ button underneath the ‘Set up an Ethernet Device’ section:
9) In the following page, one can either scan the QR code on the Ethernet-capable controller to register the controller to your account, or enter in the serial number manually to search for that device:
10) Once successfully connected, the following success message will display. Tap the ‘Add Equipment to this Controller’ to add more hardware to this controller, Tap the ‘Edit Controller Profile’ button to update the Controller Profile Settings, or tap the ‘Go to Room Dashboard’ button to view the dashboard for the newly connected controller:
