Core Status Lights

The Core controller has a status light on its front faceplate that indicates what condition the controller is currently reporting. The list below shows the possible status light LED’s one would see when looking at the front faceplate of the Core controller:

Firmware Startup

    Solid White

Loading Modules

    Blinking Yellow

Modules Loaded, but Core is not Connected to Cloud

    Flashing Green

Connected to Cloud and Running

    Slow Breathing Green

Watchdog

Core controllers have a Watchdog service that checks the health of the controller and reboots modules if they come across persistent errors. When one reboots the Core controller a Red Watchdog LED will illuminate on the front faceplate of the Core. Once all of the modules on the Core have finished loading, the Watchdog LED will turn off.
