Mobile App 2.0 -- Hardware Tab Overview

This video goes over the Hardware Tab within Mobile app 2.0

Audio Transcript:
The hardware tab is where you view your virtual rooms, your controllers, devices, and where you configure them. You start off in the equipment page, where it shows all virtual rooms, and you can select either the hardware selected to be in that virtual room or the profile for your virtual room.

Within the profile for the virtual room, you can see some of the settings such as the name, which you can rename if desired, the square footage, the room type, as well as some room specific settings, such as the time zone, the day range, what value the lighting temperature fail safe is set to trigger at, as well as where to send offline alerts to.

When tapping the hardware tab, you can see the controllers that are registered to be underneath this virtual room.

When selecting the specific controller up in the top right, if you click the icon of three dots, you can either add equipment to this controller, create a sensor aggregate, update the device Wi-Fi if it is a wireless device, or delete the device from this room.

When selecting a controller itself or a module, up in the top right of that page if you click the icon of three dots, you can either view the history associated with controller and what changes it might have had, or delete the device outright.

From here, you can also rename the controller, enable offline alerts, hide the device from the dashboard if desired, and also configure the connected devices or sensors.

For a device, you can rename the device, change its device type, or if you tap the icon of three dots in the top right when the device is selected, you can do the history associated with this device. This can be helpful for determining any manual changes in state for a particular device.

For sensors, you can change the name, the type, and the unit type of the sensor. If you tap the icon of three dots in the top right while the sensor is selected, you can also view the history for the sensor, which just shows any changes to the name and settings made for this sensor.
