Mobile App 2.0 -- Sensor Triggers
The video below goes over configuring sensor triggers within Mobile App 2.0.
Audio Transcript:
Sensor triggers are rules that are used to turn on devices by evaluating sensor data and determining whether that device should turn on or turn off.
Within the sensor trigger form, we can put in a display name for it, set a time of day for which the sensor trigger can activate, choose the sensor that we want it to look at sensor readings for, decide what devices should trigger, configure the set point, and determine if we want the device to turn on or turn off.
Once all of those fields are populated, a summary sentence will tell us the logic we're trying to employ and show a graph of what that behavior should look like.
We can also include some advanced options which aren't particularly necessary for this rule, and then hit add trigger to save this rule.
