Mobile App 2.0 -- Timers
The video below goes over configuring timers within Mobile App 2.0.
Audio Transcript:
Timers are rule types that are used to turn on a device at a set cadence throughout the day.
We'll start by putting in a display name, choosing the devices that we want to activate, and selecting the time of day that we want this timer to activate for. We can have it activate all day, ‘Day Only’ which only fires during your day range, ‘Night Only’ which only fires outside of your day range, or set a custom time.
Custom time is usually what most customers utilize. We'll set the start time, the sync time, and the end time for the timer. The Sync Time in a timer determines when the first irrigation event of the timer fires, which should always match the start time of the timer when making a Custom Time timer.
Next, specify the frequency and duration desired for the timer. Once that's it, a rule summary sentence will populate, summarizing the logic you've employed. If the summary sentence matches the desired logic you wish to employ, we can just hit add timer to save this rule.
