This is Josh with Growlink, and in today's walkthrough we're going to be going over how to change device types within the Growlink mobile app.
You'll start by tapping the settings cogwheel up in the top right of the mobile app, followed by tapping Configure Equipment, which will show you your controller and whatever modules you have registered to that controller.
In this example, we're just going to click on the example controller where we can see the product of this controller, a precision irrigation controller, the serial number, the name of the controller, what substrate equation is using, and then the sensors and devices that are registered to this controller.
In this example, we're just going to tap valve #1 we're just going to show us the name and the device type of the valve.
Now, if we tap on the device type, you see we have a couple of different options.
We can change this device type to reservoir, pump, valve exclusive, or batch tank.
In this case, we're just going to change it to batch tank and then save those changes.
Depending on what kind of controller you have, there'll be a number of different device types that you can choose.
This is how you would access that within the mobile app and then change those device types.
Once you save those changes, the controller will update with that configuration and you should be all set.
