Hey, this is Josh with Growlink and in today's walkthrough we'll be going over how to control your devices within the Growlink mobile app.

We'll start by logging into the mobile app, which will take you to your controller dashboard.

If you have multiple controllers, you can tap the icon in the top left to choose the specific controller you want to look at.

In this example, we only have a single controller, so we're going to select this one controller.

Then we're going to hit the Devices tab up at the top here.

It's going to display the four outputs on this controller.

If I wanted to manually turn the device off and not listen to rules, I would place it in the manual off position here.

If I wanted to manually turn the output on and also have it ignore rules, then I turn into the manual on position here.

If I wanted it to adhere to rules that I have configured, we would instead keep it in the auto position where Auto-Off, the red lightning bolt, indicates that there is no rule calling this output to be on and Auto-on, a green lightning bolt, would indicate that there is a rule telling this output to turn on.

If you notice, there's also a lock icon on the right hand side here, which if I tap this will prevent me from accidentally tapping a device and preventing me from changing it from its current state.

This can be really handy since the mobile app is meant for mobile devices that utilize a touchscreen.

To disable this, just tap the lock icon again and you'll be able to control devices again.

This concludes how you would use the Devices tab within the Growlink mobile app.
