Hey, this is Josh with Growlink, and in today's walkthrough we'll be going over how to update your controller's firmware within Portal 2.0.

We'll start by logging into the web portal and then going to one of your controllers using the controller dashboard.

In this example, we're going to click on the example controller here.

If your controller is able to have its firmware updated and it is currently out of date, a little tool tip will show up in the top of the controller dashboard telling you this.

If you click this tool tip, it'll take you to the Settings tab where you can update the firmware of your controller.

You can either choose to update it now or schedule a time for that update to take place.

We typically recommend that you do this while your lights are off because during the time that this firmware update is taking place, no control signals will be sent, and the update can take anywhere between 5 and 10 minutes to complete.

If you wanted to manually update your controllers, you could just go to the Settings tab, go to the controller that you want to update, and then click the firmware button to reach the same screen.

This concludes how to update your controller firmware was in Portal 2.0.
