Trolmaster Integration Hub Setup Guide

In order to register a Trolmaster Integration Hub to your Growlink Account, login to the Mobile App and tap the settings cogwheel in the top right of the mobile app:

Within the Settings menu, tap the ‘Add New Hardware’ option:

Adding a New Controller

Select the ‘Integrations’ option in the following menu if you’re connecting a new Trolmaster Integration Hub to your account:

In the following Menu, select the Integration Hub for Trolmaster:

Selecting this option will open the Controller registration wizard within the Growlink Mobile App. Follow the steps in the wizard to connect the Trolmaster Integration Hub to your network via WiFi or Ethernet, depending on your personal preference:

Once the controller has been registered to your account, you will be prompted to select a Room. If no Room exists, tab the button to ‘Create a new room’ at the bottom of the page:

Once a new room has been created, you will be taken to the Profile page of the new room to edit any important settings, such as the desired time zone, day range, and lighting shutdown temperature failsafe.

Note: The Lighting Shutdown Temperature failsafe is a failsafe that exists on every Growlink Controller. This failsafe will shut off any ‘Lights’ device if any recorded temperature reads above the specified value in order to protects the plants in the room. The lights will turn back on once the temperature has dropped below the value specified for at least 10 minutes.

Once the room’s profile has been configured, connect your Trolmaster Lights to the Line 1 and Line 2 ports, and connect Trollmaster sensors and devices to the Sensors and Devices ports on the Trolmaster Integration Hub. Once connected, Tap the addressing button on the connected Trolmaster hardware to have them be re-addressed by the Integration Hub. Once this has been completed, tap the ‘Save and Add Devices’ button at the bottom to begin registering sensors and devices to your Integration Hub:

First, specify the Lighting adapters plugged into Line 1 and Line 2 on the Integration Hub, as well as if the port is using LMA-G:

The integration Hub will then iterate through all connected sensors and devices to the Integration Hub.

Sensors will display a default sensor name, which can be edited to match a specific sensor’s location for easier identification:

Device Outputs will have a Device Name which can be edited to match the connected device to the output and a selectable device type for each output:

Temperature, Humidistat, and AC Remote Stations display their Setpoint, Deadband, and Mode points (where applicable), which can be renamed:

Additionally, one is able to specify what sensor reading the Remote Station will reference for controlling the station and configure the initial rules set for those stations:

For the Line 1 and Line 2 ports, one can name each group of lights detected to teach port, and specify the type of lights in use across that port:

To skip a specific module from being registered to your Integration Hub, tap the ‘Skip’ button at the bottom of the wizard:

Once the sensor or devices have been named to your liking and any required fields for the module have been designated, one can tap the ‘Add & Next’ button to move onto the next module detected by the Integration Hub:

Once all currently detected modules are registered or skipped, a final confirmation window will populate that will list all skipped modules. In this window one can add those modules to the controller or keep them from being registered. If all desired modules have been added to the controller registration click the ‘Finish adding devices’ button to finish the setup wizard. One can also view the created rules from any connected Temperature, Humidistat, or AC remote stations if configured within the wizard:

The Hub will take a configuration update, and one will be taken to the dashboard of the room created where one can see sensor data from registered modules:

Congrats!  You have finished setting up your Trolmaster Integration Hub.
