Metrc Job Queuing

Improving the workflow for submitting changes to Metrc

Metrc Job Queuing allows users with our Metrc integration to submit multiple actions to Metrc in parallel and track the status of each action inside the notification bar.

This means you can submit actions to Metrc and navigate to other parts of the app while  knowing that the action is being submitted to Metrc in the background.

For example, if you have to harvest 10 batches, you can submit all 10 harvests to Metrc and each of the submissions will appear in the notification bar of the FloEnvy Dashboard for you to easily track the status.

Which Actions Support Job Queuing

Currently, the following actions support job queuing:

These actions can be performed through the Smart Grid, the Plants by Phase page, the Batches page, or by finalizing an Action Item with a matching Metrc Finalization Type.

Job Queue Status and Details

You can view the status of recent jobs by viewing the Metrc Job Queue tab in the Notifications drawer. This will show you a list of all jobs from the current day, ordered by most recently updated.

Each entry displays a job title (an automatically generated title describing the action being taken), the job status, the time/date of the most recent update, and the username of who initiated this action.

Job Status

Each job will display a status, along with an optional message. Possible statuses include:

  • In Queue: the job has been added to the queue, and is waiting to be processed
  • Processing: the job is actively being processed
  • Succeeded: the job completed successfully
  • Partial Success: some of the actions did not complete successfully
  • Failed: the job completely failed

Job Details

Certain actions may include additional details upon completion, to help you understand any issues that may have occurred. For example, a job that attempts to change locations for several plants will return a list of which plant labels were successfully moved, and which failed.
